Offerings & Limitations:  Public workstations are provided on a first come first served basis.  Sign-in is required before using a public workstation or internet access computer for statistical purposes and to facilitate availability for waiting patrons.  Users are granted a 30 minute session with one additional 30 minute session, provided no one is on the waiting list. Exceptions may be made with prior arrangements for time consuming projects at the discretion of the Director (or their designee).    

Library workstations have access to the card catalog, educational games, and productivity software such as Word, Publisher, Power Point and Excel.  Patron software may not be installed on any public computer.  Data may not be stored on the hard drive.  Portable storage devices such as floppy disks and flash drives may be used for uploading, downloading and storage of data.  Diskettes are available at the desk for a *fee.  Black and white or color printing is available for per page *fee. 

Internet access: Internet access is available to patrons, subject to Library policy; (see Internet Acceptable Use Policy & Guidelines).  Minors, defined as under18 years of age, must have an Internet Parental Permission Form signed by parent or legal guardian and on file before they will be allowed access.

Disclaimer:   Computer access is a privilege, not a right and requires users to be civil, courteous, and abide by Federal, State and Local laws.  Library Policy and Conduct Rules apply. We reserve the right to end a patron’s session at any time.  The Library does not guarantee that its computer systems will meet the specific needs of any user, or be error-free and without interruption.  The Library does not guarantee all or any workstations will be available at any given time due to maintenance or staff needs. The Library does not accept responsibility for (a) loss or damage to data, files, or hardware, (b) accuracy of information, (c) content, (d) objectionable material found on the internet, and or (e) security of personal information.  The Library will not be liable for any direct or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of profits sustained or incurred in connection with the use, operation, or inability to use the systems.
